My Disney Photos Are Now Online

I have begun to make my photos available for purchase on my new site at Paul Bousquet Photography with new photos being added all the time. Please take some time and head on over and check them out. The prints are made by a professional lab with high quality prints both small and large. I have more trips planned to Walt Disney World and Disneyland so there will be more photos added in the future.

The Car Barn at Magic Kingdom

The Car Barn at Disney World's Magic Kingdom is one of those buildings that is easy to ignore.  It sits in the left hand corner beyond the fire station and next to the barber shop.  It is very easy and common to enter the park and head straight for Main Street to get to whatever land is on the top of everyone's list for the day.  But it is worthwhile to spend some time after the list is complete and explore some of the structures towards the corners of Town Square.

This shot was taken shortly after it rained with the sun popping out from the clouds.   I added a gritty preset to the shot which gives it a little bit of an edgy look and feel.  I think this worked well since the light was right and the wet pavement adds to the edgy look.

The Emerald City

Here is another photo from the Le Pays de Conte de Fees (The Land of Fairy Tale) attraction in Disneyland Paris.  This is a photo of the Emerald City of course from the movie The Wizard of Oz.

I'm Late

Like the White Rabbit I'm late!  I meant to post this before it was time to change the clocks back an hour.  This was taken on our trip to Disneyland Paris at a very neat little attraction in Fantasyland called Alice's Labyrinth.  It is a walk through maze that takes you through the story of Alice In Wonderland and is something not to be missed.  We especially enjoyed it since my wife directed a school production of Disney's Alice In Wonderland Jr. at our kids' school last year.  I really enjoyed Fantasyland at DLRP and will be posting more photos in the future.

The Real Matterhorn

The Matterhorn bobsled ride in Disneyland was the first steel tube rail coaster ride developed. You may not think of the Matterhorn ride as a real mountain, but the Sierra club did.  They decided after the mountain was built to try and climb  it and they did.  Walt Disney had them scale the mountain again for the grand opening.  Climbers were hired after this by Disney to perform the feat repeatedly for the enjoyment of the guests.

Little Town

Here is a photo from Disneyland Paris I took on a recent trip.  It is in the Le Pays de Contes de Fees  (The Land of Fairy Tale) attraction, also known as Storybook Land.  In this photo Belle is sitting quietly in her "Little Town" reading or maybe even singing.  I wonder how she manages to get the town square to herself?
